I got a 92 on my second test in College Algebra Tuesday night. Sooo euphorically shocked about it, totally WAS not expecting to get that high of a score.
I only missed two questions. One was by the dumbest of dumb mistakes, I executed the math correctly, but I wrote down "B" instead of "C" for the answer (did I mention that these are multiple choice test? yeeeesssness) and I have no clue as to why I did that because I saw that "C" was the correct choice. Der. The other question I missed was on the only part of the homework I 100% did not even look at since there was so little of it assigned in comparison to the rest.
So, two revelations from that.
One: Be anxious for nothing.
Two: Little mistakes happen to keep us humble.

What do you believe make for a good use of a short study break?

mmmh. I have a love affair with books.
I own close to 250 personally... and that only because I'm restrained by space right now. I canna wait for my own house. I'm gonna knock out some of the inner/non-supporting/insulating walls and use the studs for bookshelves. Mwhahaha. <3<3
I get/got most of them used, only bought a few new... three of them being the collectors ed. Lord of the Ring trilogy (eighty eight buckaroos).
AND I FINALLY HAVE A BOOKSHELF TO PUT THEM ON!! HUZZAH, BOOKS ARE OUT OF STORAGE. XDDD
According to the books on my shelves: I enjoy reading high fantasy, fairy tales, philosophy, languages, British authors, King Arthur variations, and The Beauty & The Beast stories. lol.
*sigh* I'm so glad to be able to see all my books AND get to them easily. They filled up a three 20 gal lugs under my bed and now I have extra space for storage. Yay! win/win.

Who Needs Glasses Anyways?
Here I am, blogging away again, wasting time on the computer. There is math and biology assignments I need to finish by tomorrow and the day after, respectively. But I have seen fit to languish the day on facebook, youtube, and reading fanfiction (oh woe is me).
While I, more or less impatiently, wait for the photos of my sister's wedding to be posted (it was on Sunday, && I know that the photographer is working his BUTT off to get them done as fast as he can). I found out after the wedding that one of the relatives had compared, in a good way, my sister to Grace Kelly. :D
OHOHOH!! We have some pictures: wedding pictures!
Yay!
Ok, I am happy now. :D
Today I made my second youtube video, all in honor of MightyMargo. Tomorrow, as time permits, I'll make another!

Vadar, Captain Kirk is Attempting Contact.
Should we respond with laser beams from our eyes or share the last batch of brownies with him?

Why blog? I ponder this question as the days go by and the things happen that I want to write about happen faster than I can keep up. Does one blog for amusement? To rant? To remember cute dialogue? To tell the slice of interweb that the blogger is exposed to what was for lunch (and when it happen)? Why? Does anyone care to read what bloggers blog on their blogs? Really, deep down, do you WANT to read all the updates on your flist?
I blog as thoughts stream from my mental storage.... An electronic extension of my journal and my quote collection. I blog to rant. To complain. To ask questions. To seek advice. To share everyday occurrences.
Inspiring emotion in the reader is a hoped for outcome... but stoicism works for me too (as long as you're reading my posts, right?).
No feedback expected, unless when I ask for it. I don't always blog with consistent continuity or give much in the way of chronological background details, but their will be details. Names get changed as the mood dictates, sometimes to protect the guilty -sometimes to remove prejudices- sometimes just to change the name.
This is not my first blog, but I feel like it's a clean unlined, loose bound, book. With my name on the cover. I cannot wait to fill the pages!
